Orders
At e.g.etal we can arrange for some of our designs to be customised and made to order. We encourage you to come in and discuss your requirements, so that we can advise you what is possible without compromising the design.
We require a 50% deposit to place an order and full payment on collection of the finished item. Orders generally take 4–6 weeks to complete once the deposit has been paid.
If a longer delivery period is required, you will be notified within 3 working days of your deposit being received. You will be asked to confirm that you would still like to proceed with the order.
Once an order has been placed it cannot be cancelled. As each piece is handmade by an individual artist to suit your specific requirements, we ask that you understand the finished products cannot be returned or exchanged. If you change your mind regarding any details, including size, we will do our best to have any adjustments made. However any changes made after the order has been placed will be at your expense.
Quotes
e.g.etal can organise a quote prior to commencing an order.
Quotes are valid for 14 days.
Lay-bys
Items available at e.g.etal may be placed on Lay-by for a period of eight weeks by making a deposit of 25% of the value of the item. We then require payments to be made fortnightly until the total amount has been paid. If the total has not been paid within 8 weeks, the lay-by may be cancelled and the deposit forfeited.
Exchanges
Items purchased from e.g.etal may be exchanged, if returned to us within two weeks of purchase. The item must be returned unworn and in original condition, accompanied by the sales receipt or exchange card. It may then be exchanged for another item of the same value or for a credit note valid for six months.

Refunds
Refunds are not possible. In the case of manufacturing faults, the item will be repaired without cost to the customer.
Mail order
All prices shown for mail order items are in Australian dollars and include GST. Postage and handling costs will be calculated when an order is placed and must be paid in full before the item can be dispatched. The carrier will be Australia Post and items should arrive within 10 working days of receipt of your payment. Payment can be made via direct deposit into the specified e.g.etal account. Details will be provided on request. For international orders an additional $20 charge will apply for each transaction to cover international bank fees. International customers will be responsible for local duties and taxes.
Mail order exchanges
Items purchased by mail order may be exchanged if returned to us within three weeks of purchase. It may then be exchanged for another item of the same value or for a credit note valid for six months.
The customer is responsible for the cost of return postage and any additional postage and handling costs incurred by delivery of the new item. The original postage and handling charges are not refundable. e.g.etal takes no responsibility for returned goods that are lost or damaged in transit. To ensure that your returned item arrives safely, please use a registered postal service and return it in the original packaging.
Ring sizing
At e.g.etal we will take a ring fitting prior to placing all ring orders, but can only advise on the recommended ring size. It is the customer’s responsibility to select the correct size that will be comfortable in all temperatures. Usually fingers are larger in warm or humid weather and smaller in cold weather. This can differ from person to person. In the case of a customer requesting the resize of a ring, a charge may apply. It is important to note that not all rings can be resized. A second fitting is required for any rings with stones, before the stones are set. At the time of placing a ring order, the customer is required to approve the size and accept responsibility for the size selection. e.g.etal cannot take responsibility for incorrect choice of size and any cost associated with resizing or remaking the ring will be the responsibility of the customer.
