The Lionfish Necklace was inspired by its namesake, a beautiful species of fish usually found in northern coastal areas of Australia. Liv Boyle was inspired by their frilly, colourful nature- which is reflected in this radiant design through the use of different-coloured beads.
This one-off piece intends to emulate the colours seen in Victoria’s picturesque Morning Peninsula area, where the artist spent time on an artist residency in 2025. Handcrafted for her first e.g.etal gallery solo exhibition collection titled, ‘Shooting Stars and Electric Clouds’, this collection aims to capture a quiet connection between the self and the preservation of our natural environment.
