Two new artists join our collection
Roll out the glittering carpet as we welcome two new artists to e.g.etal: Laura Eyles and Kimba Pham. Their jewellery draws inspiration from ancient and modern life; from the building blocks of the universe, to the stars above, to the machines and mechanics that drive our contemporary world.
Laura Eyles
Each of Laura’s pieces is an adventure strewn with surprises. Glittering constellations are hidden inside rotating mechanical discs, or buried in the belly of a luminous speckled organism. With a soft spot for mechanisms but the eye of an artist, Laura aims to create cleverly designed pieces that embrace simplicity with a sense of personality. View Laura’s work here.
Kimba Pham
Kimba was handpicked to join e.g.etal from her graduating class at NMIT, where she completed an Advanced Diploma in Engineering Technology (Jewellery). Kimba’s work is strongly influenced by the ‘golden ratio’: the proportions and design language from which the universe was created. Her jewellery explores our enduring connection with geometric shapes and their ancient role as protective adornments. View Kimba’s jewellery here.
