Exhibition: Underground Movement
Underground Movement is an exhibition of jewellery by e.g.etal artists, reflecting on Melbourne as a city of flux and flow.
Each piece in this collection celebrates the beauty of movement, change and transformation – as Melbourne’s subterranean spaces are being hollowed out and re-imagined, addressing the issues of a growing population.
Kinetic and surprising, these jewellery pieces feature elements that spin, swing, open, shut, fold, collapse or unfurl. Referencing the process of transformation from one state to another, this is jewellery that will move you.
Participating artists: Lisa Black | Laura Eyles | Cinnamon Lee | Romy Mittleman | Sean O’Connell | David Parker | Jane Reilly | Amy Renshaw | Stephanie Said | Claire Taylor | Kathryn Wardill
Underground Movement will exhibit at e.g.etal as part of Craft Cubed from 6-25 August, 2018.
Friday Nights at e.g.etal
Kinetic jewellery comes alive when worn! Join us every Friday night in August from 5pm, to touch, spin, wear and play while the champagne flows.
