Adrastia – a nymph who fostered Zeus, king of the gods, as an infant.
The Adrastia Bangle features a fused overlapping join with a hammered finish on three sides, creating a unique rectangular profile. It is handmade in matte sterling silver by Melbourne artist Vikki Kassioras as part of her exhibition, ASIMINA.
ASIMINA is a special exhibition of silver jewellery by Vikki Kassioras, offering a retrospective exploration of her creative practice which now spans over two decades.
This exhibition reinterprets and reimagines select pieces from Vikki’s past collections, providing a foundation for this body of work. Through the lens of hindsight, combined with an evolved creative process, Vikki introduces a fresh perspective whilst maintaining the integrity of her original designs.
Pieces from this collection will be shipped at the conclusion of the exhibition (from 31 October, 2024).
