“Along with my love of sapphires is my adoration of pearls. The large organic shaped South Sea Keshi pearl is one I’ve been holding onto for a little while. I don’t often make pearls rings but something about the natural curve of this pearl made me not stop thinking about incorporating into the Lustrous Terrain ring you see in this collection. It demands attention cascading over the finger but has a softness in its presence. I complimented with a subtly rounded band, hand formed, filed and hammered to get the right proportions and angles. The combination of different coloured golds to make the ring reflect how the pearls undulating surface echos its varied coloured hues.” – Julia Storey
