18ct white gold, Argyle champagne/congac macle diamond
Sarah Heyward’s ‘Motion’ ring expresses the forces of the earth, combining white gold with an Argyle champagne/congac macle diamond.
Macles are one of the natural shapes diamond crystals take, found in the Kimberly. First formed as octahedrons, increased pressure from one side causes the crystal to grow into a natural triangular formation. The gemstone seen here in the ‘Motion’ ring has a milky, smooth surface with trigon growth patterns.
