‘The Heroine’s Journey’ is the third creative collaboration between jeweller Romy Mittleman and artist Jennifer E. Hopper for e.g.etal. This exhibition celebrates women’s strength, enshrines the value of facing down one’s own demons, and covets the wisdom that comes with age.
The collection’s singular ‘Everywoman’ figure is depicted as cutting off her girlish braids in a defiant act of adult autonomy. These 18ct yellow gold handmade scissor studs symbolise a life lived fully, bravely and with a heroine’s heart. The earrings come with 9ct gold backings.
