Justine Austen’s ‘Chromatic Spheres’ series showcases radiant glass beads in an array of juicy colours.
Fibre optic glass is made from thousands of fine, hair-like strands of glass pressed together, which together form intriguing cats-eye (or chatoyance) reflections. The glass is then cut and polished into colourful beads, which artist Justine Austen combines with her precise metalwork.
Please note that each necklace is made by hand and may have slight variations between colour and placement of fibre optic beads.
