Titanium, 18ct yellow gold and champagne diamond
A technical and conceptual masterpiece from Carl Noonan, originally conceived as an exhibition piece to celebrate e.g.etal’s 20th birthday. An ultra hi-res stainless steel icosahedron ‘jewel’, set atop a titanium ring, is made up of 20 triangles, representing the 20 years of e.g.etal. Overlapping gold squares form Xs while also referencing the e.g.etal logo. Beneath the ring are two champagne diamonds in the same position as Saturn and Jupiter were when e.g.etal was founded. The jewels also represent the gallery’s founding partners and the ripples they made that are still having affects today.
