An essential aspect of Modernist architecture is the harmonious relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces fostering a deep connection between the constructed and the natural landscape. This harmony is reflected in these pieces by the ability of these remarkable materials, sourced from our native soil, to evoke the vivid colours and sparkling waters of the Australian landscape.
Phoebe selected colours that remind her of the incredible light and colour of a particular stretch of the New South Wales South Coast that she has visited every year since she was a small child, even while living far away interstate and overseas. She hopes the pieces will evoke memories of similar special times and places for those who choose them to celebrate love and represent their cherished connections between people, place and time.
