18ct yellow gold, Australian Argyle diamond, platinum
Description
Named after a natural phenomenon which occurs when a full moon rises over the Pilbara coastline in Western Australia, the glowing ‘Stairway To The Moon’ ring by Julia Ioannides ring features a sprinkling of Australian argyle diamonds.
A small piece of platinum was melted into this gold ingot and through the hammering process, the metal has come to the surface of the ring to be slightly visible on the face. Platinum also exists in high abundance on the moon.
