The God In Small Things | Radiant Pavilion 2026

Opening Night: Thursday 15 October, 5-7pm
We are thrilled to announce ‘The God in Small Things’ – an exhibition of contemporary jewellery, curated by Anna Davern for Radiant Pavilion 2026, exploring awe, wonder, and the mystery of existence, alongside the human desire to seek meaning and ethical grounding in the face of the unknowable.
Emerging from the deliberately hopeful question: can jewellery save the world? It offers a way to consider small, intimate objects as sites of meaning, what they might offer in times marked by uncertainty and collective unease, and how our relationships with such objects shape how we relate to one another and the world around us.
Contemporary jewellery offers a powerful site for engaging with these ideas. Exploring this are artists Kate Alterio, Juan Castro, Joungmee Do, Sarah Heyward, Katheryn Leopoldseder, Natalia Milosz-Piekarska, Romy Mittelman, Sean O’Connell, Jane Reilly, Gabbee Stolp, and Aurelia Yeomans.
The exhibition title references Arundhati Roy’s The God of Small Things, signalling an interest in intimacy, scale, and the significance of the overlooked, rather than religious belief.
Exhibition Dates:
Thursday 15 October to Friday 5 November
