Stephanie Said is a jewellery designer from Sydney, Australia. Her design focus is based on the fundamental principles of Shape, Space, Light, and Sound; which are deconstructed and re-composed into elegant sculptural forms. Hinges form the core of her work, allowing pieces to shift, fold and evolve, creating sound and reflecting light.
Stephanie completed a Bachelor of Fashion and Textile Design at the University of Technology in Sydney, 2004, which included a submajor in Jewellery Design at the Sydney College of Arts. Whilst spending 12 years working in the fashion industry for the likes of Akira Isogawa and Assin she continually nurtured her practice and is now entirely focused on her collections. She operates from her studio inside Gaffa Gallery, Sydney.
